You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Y’all. We are still amazed at the way the Lord began crafting Kelly and Logan Photography long before it ever really existed. The home that Logan grew up in, the one that Kelly worked tirelessly to make cozy and inviting, was full of photo albums and photo boxes. And now with each move and life change, the one thing that remains the same is those albums. Albums from long before either of us were born, albums from each of our childhoods—all filled with the sweetest memories, cherished moments, untold stories, ones we’d have never known existed if not for the documentation of generations before.
So, Kelly and Logan Photography blossomed from our loves of documenting life, telling stories, and connecting deeply with other people. Because after all, it’s the relationships, the personal connections and the memories we’ve shared that make the greatest impact on this life.
We would LOVE to be a part of helping you document your most important moments. Please take a second to get to know a little more about us... and then reach out to tell us a little more about YOU! We can't wait to connect, share the K&L experience, and begin walking with you through the next big season of your life!
Wife. Fur-Mama. Daughter. Sister. Friend. College Athlete. Teacher. YoungLife Leader. Ice Cream Lover. Pilates Novice. Wannabe Chef. There are so many words I could use to describe myself that I actually might give you whiplash. I’ve come to the conclusion it is because I’m doing my best to live a life that radiates Jesus, and I think that can only be done with heart and palms wide open. Which is kind of how I became a photographer.
I absolutely LOVE connecting with high school seniors and couples, both behind the camera and aside from it. I love creating images that convey emotion, feeling, memories, and ultimately breathe life into relationships and the hearts behind the faces I photograph. And I believe doing that begins in the simplicity and uniqueness of each person and each relationship. At the end of the day, my goal is to create images that emphasize beauty and grace, that can be passed through generations, that tell stories beautifully and candidly, and that create genuine connection in a world that too often feels disconnected. I’m thankful every day that clients quickly become friends and that photography is so much more than my job. Photographing professionally SURELY wasn’t “in the plans.” Until it was. I knew that I was supposed to choose a path that was unfamiliar. More complicated. Less logical. More life. Less “work”. So, without looking back, I left my life as a teacher and varsity coach to be a photographer full time. What a leap of faith. One that’s provided the greatest adventure and utmost joy for almost 3 years now.
Southern born and bred, a little bit country, pop and rock and roll, who still knows the words to almost every song on the radio, whether it’s Eric Church, Bruno Mars or Jeremy Camp. I’m a tech-geek, a former college golfer (yes, I still play and I volunteer as the Assistant Coach for Belmont University Women’s Golf Team) a travel lover and fun-seeker. Most importantly though, my family, Jesus and photography are the loves of my life.
Although I have taken pictures my whole adult life, I never had aspirations of becoming a professional photographer. It just kind of happened. I’m so thankful that it did because I can’t imagine doing anything else. Photography is so much more than picking up a camera and pushing the shutter. It’s knowing how to connect with people to make them feel like they are not in front of a camera. It’s knowing how to use the available light, to capture the scene as it is right at that specific moment. It’s providing our clients an experience and images they will cherish a lifetime, and I love ALL of that.
